Withdrawal Policy

Annals of Communication and Politics in Africa (ACPA) is committed to preserving the integrity and accuracy of the scholarly record through rigorous post-publication oversight. In the event that a significant error or omission is identified in a published article, the journal will issue a formal Corrigendum (for author-side errors) or Erratum (for journal-side errors) to notify the academic community. Furthermore, in cases where manuscripts are found to contain fundamental flaws, data fabrication, or evidence of research misconduct, ACPA will initiate a formal retraction in strict accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. This process ensures transparency and maintains the reliability of global scholarship by clearly flagging any updates or withdrawals within international indexing databases.
