Terms and Conditions

By accessing the Annals of Politics and Communication in Africa (APCA) website, submitting a manuscript, or utilising any of our published content, authors and all other users agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions:

· Intellectual Property and Copyright:

· Ownership of Rights: APCA and its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material published by the journal. APCA operates under a model that protects both the author and the integrity of the scholarly record.

· Licensing and Distribution: Authors retain the copyright to their work but grant APCA a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. This allows the journal to publish, distribute, and archive the work permanently.

· Permitted Usage: Authors and readers are encouraged to view, download, and print pages for personal, educational, or non-commercial research. However, users must provide full attribution to the original author and APCA.

2. Submission Warranties:

Submission to APCA constitutes a formal agreement. By submitting a manuscript, authors warrant the following:

· Originality and Exclusivity: The work is entirely original, has not been published previously, and is not currently under consideration by any other journal.

· Co-author Approval: All listed co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission.

· Ethical Compliance: The research adheres to the journal’s Plagiarism and AI Content Policies, as well as international ethical standards for research involving human subjects.

· Conflict of Interest: Any potential conflicts of interest have been fully disclosed to the Editorial Board.
