Annals of Politics and Communication in Africa (APCA) operates under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. This framework ensures that authors retain full copyright of their work while granting the public the freedom to share and adapt the material for any purpose. This global standard requires that appropriate credit be given to the original author and the journal as the initial place of publication, thereby maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record.

Sustainability for the journal is maintained through a transparent fee structure that supports rigorous peer review and professional production. Authors are required to meet the following financial obligations:

· Submission Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₦10,000 (or the equivalent in other currencies) is due at the time of initial manuscript entry.

· Article Processing Charge (APC): If the manuscript is accepted for publication, an APC of ₦25,000 is required.
